Adam Lippes is launching Love Adam, a lower priced line for HSN this Fall and boy do I love Adam for it!! His clothes are gorgeous, with amazing cuts and prints (like the one above from an old shoot I styled & shot for WWD in 2008 but the print is still one of my favorites) There will be a pop-up store in NYC this September as well and hopefully he will be opening something up in LA at some point too. The Love Adam line will include embellished tops, a Dolman dress (like the one below), twill jackets and faux fur coats all priced between $54.90 and $399.90. Yay!

William & Kate Are Coming!

I am sorry but they are too freakin’ cute. They make you love love… I’m just saying. They always look so happy and in love it’s awesome. And they’re coming to LA! Friday July 8th there will be a reception at the Beverly Hilton for United Kingdom Trade and Investment followed by cocktails with the British Consular-General held at his home. Guy Lalibertè

Yesterday evening I got a chance to see up close the new book Gaia that Guy Lalibertè, the founder of Cirque du Soleil, curated from photos he took when traveling to the moon. Yep, I said traveling to the moon. Prosper & Martine Assouline hosted a small cocktail party in his honor at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills where guests, including Sam Nazarian himself of SLS, looked at the incredible photos taken from way up high. Guy was traveling 17,500 miles per hour, while making 16 tours of the earth every day. Pretty cool. Buzz Aldrin‘s wife was there as well though Buzz himself was unable to make it at the last minute. Burgans Albarino

At last night’s Gaia event hosted by SLS Hotel they were serving one of my favorite wines, Burgans Albarino, an inexpensive but really nice white Spanish wine. It’s around $12 a bottle and tastes amazing. Perfect for summer, so excited to be reminded of it.

Obsessed with this song from LA-based folk rockers Dawes. The lyrics are kind of genius. The band is two brothers Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith, Wylie Gelber and Tay Strathairn. Their new (and second) album “Nothing Is Wrong” came out June 7th, 2011 on ATO Records.
