The Sriracha Cookbook

Oh wow. Omg. I am so obsessed with this. Have to buy this book as soon as it comes out. I discovered Sriracha hot sauce years ago in NYC’s Chinatown and have been dousing my food with it ever since. It is AMAZING and just a dab adds so much flavor to pretty much anything. Genius idea to do a cookbook with it. The Sriracha Cookbook by Randy Clemens hits bookstores January 18th.

Look Number 1, 2011

Ok, so clearly I spent some time on Net-a-Porter today. New Year, new wardrobe… It felt like the right thing to do on the first day of the year. I love this Kaufman Franco belted stretch-jersey and leather dress paired with these cute Chloe boots and some cream colored cable knit stockings. Love this Mui Mui bag and Alexander McQueen necklace with it too. The necklace is Continue reading

McQueen Ring

I don’t even know what to say except it must be torture to be a retail buyer during the shows and have to edit down from each season’s Alexander McQueen collections. Nutz.

Jo Malone Vitamin E Lip Conditioner

I’m obsessed with Jo Malone Vitamin E Lip Conditioner. There are a couple brands that do lip balm right, which is harder than it sounds. Aside from Kiehl’s classic this is now my favorite one. I wouldn’t leave home without it in the snow all week and am taking it with me to Sundance. It’s good in any kind of weather, doesn’t have a funny smell or after taste, isn’t sticky and keeps your lips shiny, silky and perfectly pouty.

L’oubli on the L.E.S.

My friend Bizzy Jenkins took me to a new bar in the neighborhood a few nights ago, L’oubli on Suffolk Street between Houston and Stanton. Ben Demarchelier (Patrick‘s nephew) opened the place up just a few months ago. The menu is filled with great French snacks, charcuterie and cheese plates, steak tartare, baked camembert, and of course fois gras and the usual Continue reading

Jesse Kamm

I had coffee last week with Jesse Kamm who recently returned to LA with a new son and a new collection. Jesse took a hiatus from design and LA life in a cabin in Austin, Texas with her husband and newborn son for eight months but thankfully decided to come back to LA. She did some great simple pieces for Spring Summer 2011, easy and wearable. I love the tunic dresses which Continue reading
