If you’re heading to Vegas for the holidays check out the new Stella McCartney store that’s opening this Thursday. I love Stella’s simple sensibility and have been a fan since her Chloe days. The store will carry the ready-to-wear collection, accessories, lingerie, fragrances, Adidas by Stella McCartney and her new kids’ line. She also has a store in Los Angeles in West Hollywood as well as New York.
So obsessed with this song. Kept hearing it spin on the radio and can not stop pressing repeat. Norwegian Ida Maria released her second album, Katla, on November 8th, 2010. Very catchy… Supposedly she has synesthesia which means she sees colors when she hears music.

I got a holiday package with some Alternative Apparel stuff the other day and am kind of obsessed with what they sent me. The cuts are simple but awesome and the cottons feel amazing and lush. I love the muted tone wrap sweater and oversized T. They make great basics and I love their whole organic philosophy. They also make fantastic leggings that I’ve been wearing the last few years.
I love the sound of rain on the rooftop but don’t like walking out into it. Rainy weather is great as long as there is a car to hop into and I don’t have to walk to the F train. Really I just wanted an excuse to post the rainy photo above… Another reminder of all those old negatives sitting in boxes waiting to be scanned… It’s like a monsoon out there today.

I heard the Sweater Girls, a five piece band from LA, on 88.9 yesterday and got hooked.
The cool kids gathered to celebrate Mick Rock‘s new book at Confederacy in Silverlake last night, hosted by Riley Keough & Shepard Fairey. Danny Masterson and Ilaria Urbinati, who own Confederacy, have a way of gathering a great crowd for any occasion. Rockers of all ages surfaced, including Perry Farrell, Tommy Lee, Rodney Bingenheimer, Tony Basil, Juliette Lewis and a ton of other gorgeous young faces all around. Mick’s book “Exposed” was released in October and is packed with amazing images from music history. Photos of everyone from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs to Iggy Pop are included, and of course, Madonna, above.
I’ve been hearing this song for a few weeks on the radio and finally found out who it is. Ohio born 21-year old Jessica Lea Mayfield is just releasing her first full length album, ‘Tell Me’ which includes the track above. She released her first EP, ‘White Lies’, when she was only 15 and was soon recording with Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys who got a hold of one of the 100 EPs she made. I love this song.
This week turned into a smorgasbord of health and beauty. I finished my iZO Cleanze yesterday and woke up missing the routine. The cleanse was fantastic and just what I needed.
