Maya Lin has a new show of work, Here and There, opening at Pace Gallery in NYC. The opening reception is Thursday, April 25, 6 – 8 pm at 32 East 57th Street and is up through June 22, 2013. Ellsworth Kelly, who turns 90 in a few weeks, has a an exhibition opening at Matthew Marks‘ galleries at 502 and 522 West 22nd Street and 523 West 24th Street. Her dress is from Novis, our latest obsession and the line Jordana Warmflash launched in 2012. And, the best news… Awkward season 3 starts tonight on MTV at 10pm.

H&M Loves Music, Coachella Party

I love the photo my friend Megan Duffy took yesterday of the field we were on for the H&M Loves Music Coachella event at the Merv Griffin Estate in La Quinta. It reminds me of the Georges Seurat painting below, Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte. Megan nailed it without even realizing it, now that is cool. Below more photos from the party, which was really fun. Santigold, who I LOVE, performed a ton of songs from her new album and her first album which has been out for years now but the songs still sound as fresh and killer as ever. Full disclosure, the fur above is real… Although I am very Pro-Faux, I decided to post it anyway because I agree, it is super sexy with those lace legs, though I think it would be even sexier if the fur were faux. That said, I love everything else Sarah Baadarani is doing. During Golden Globes this year my client Dawn Olivieri wore this young designer out of London that we both fell in love. Sarah has been designing for a few seasons but this was her first on the red carpet in LA and her recent fall 2013 collection is even better than the last.
