Carven Le Parfum started selling today at Colette in Paris, the same day as their fall 2013 collection showed. Pics from the Carven fall 2013 collection below. I miss popping into Colette. That’s where I bought my first Lanvin dress years ago from Alber Elbaz’ second collection and all those Colette music compilation CDs. Oscars 2013 Beauty Beat

I am not going to pretend I didn’t enjoy the beauty regimen I put myself through for Oscars week. Last Saturday was the first of several blow outs I had done, starting at the one year old Kristoff Ball salon in Beverly Hills. Kristoff’s uber talented young son, Noriel (see below) did mine and Estella’s hair last weekend. Monday there was a waxing appointment with the Russian ladies at 315 Beverly Drive, Bar Method in West Hollywood, a massage from Lilly at the Pain Relief Center on 3rd Street and Sweetzer, followed by an amazing pumpkin peel facial and brow wax by Lenora at Exhale Spa in Hollywood (they just reopened in the Loews Hotel in Hollywood about a month ago). We had a blast at the InStyle Oscars viewing party and then danced up a storm at the Fox Searchlight party, where Michelle Pesce was DJ’ing and 9 year old Oscar nominee Quvenzhane Wallis took to the dance floor as well.
