One of my clients, Taryn Manning and I went to a couple of shows together this week. Both Anna Sui and L.A.M.B. are right up our alley, we both love the 70’s boho chic look and mismatched prints and lots of layers. The show at L.A.M.B. was truly a show in the grand sense and the perfect end to the week. It reminded me of the way Milan used to close with Versace in an an over the top way. So much fun. Taryn and I were sitting next to Gwen Stefani’s son and his nanny who let the super cute munchkin run to his mom as she took her bow down the runway after the show. I loved all the plaids and pantsuits, super chic and sexy. The energy of both lines is pure fun and obviously there is always fantastic music (Gwen had Neneh Cherry’s “Buffalo Stance” blaring).
Taryn above at Anna Sui in an Ainsley faux fur Eliza jacket (a new line I’m obsessing over right now), Mike Gonzalez top, Anna Sui jacket, Guiseppe Zannotti boots and a new Fall 2011 Amanda Pearl clutch and at L.A.M.B. in the seersucker Alpinestars jacket I designed for them this season.
