Maryland Film Festival

There are so many great films playing at the Maryland Film Festival this weekend in my hometown of Baltimore at The Charles. I spent my high school years in that theater (one night in my senior year we went to see Heathers at The Charles and then the band GWAR next door, all in the same night.) The whole list of screenings is here, and includes a lot of my Sundance favorites: A Teacher (above), This is Martin Bonner, Computer Chess, Touchy Feely, Prince Avalanche, and a film shot in Baltimore and written/directed by Matthew Porterfield, a Baltimore native, I Used To Be Darker.
