Givenchy Fall 2011

Riccardo Tisci is hot. In more ways than one. His collections are always spot on and he is, well, just hot. He is my first pick for the Dior job though I am sure Givenchy will not let him go that easily.

Hermès Fall 2011

A beautiful and classic first collection from Christophe Lemaire for Hermès, love the knits and colors though I could have lived without some of the bolder prints and I miss Gaultier’s rougher edge. Interesting how both designers manage to say something similar in such different ways.

Maison Martin Margiela Fall 2011

Directives West

I was asked to pick a young designer to showcase and style for the Fall 2011 Directives West fashion show on Monday March 14th which I am really excited for. I picked Tess Vigil, a brand new LA-based designer doing a line of really cute vintage inspired dresses called… 50 Dresses.
